SNAF Vocabulary
The language behind the Foundry
Clear words help people understand what we mean, how we work and what evidence supports a claim. This public glossary introduces selected terms used by Syntropy Nexus AI Foundry.
SNAF
Syntropy Nexus AI Foundry — our enterprise and public identity.
AI Foundry
A place where tools, methods and engineering come together to turn an operational problem into a practical AI solution.
Understand. Build. Achieve.
Understand: perceive, explain, anticipate and decide. Build: design, create, integrate and put into use. Achieve: reliably produce meaningful outcomes.
Disciplined union
Human intent, judgment and accountability combined with AI’s analytical, generative and computational capabilities under explicit governance. Capability does not create permission.
Human-governed AI
AI work directed by human purpose, permission and responsibility. People retain authority over consequential decisions.
Proven
A work product carries evidence appropriate to its claim. Explain what was tested, what happened, what failed and what remains uncertain.
Keeps
Preserve useful work, sources, decisions and evidence in a durable form that can be found and understood later.
Compounds
Retain reusable knowledge and lessons so future work can begin from a stronger foundation. This is an operating principle, not a claim of measured exponential improvement.
Operational proof
Examine a capability under conditions relevant to its intended use, including failures and limits. Built, working, verified, deployed and adopted describe different evidence states.
Institutional learning
Preserve evidence from work, use it to improve the next attempt and check whether the improvement actually helped.
